Off-campus access to the library's electronic resources is available to current students, faculty, and staff at Eastern Illinois University. You will be prompted to login with your EIU netid and password if it is required. You will only need to login once per browser session.

If you are having problems logging in with your NetID, there is an alternative login system using your Library ID number and last name. Your library ID number is located in the lower right corner of your Panther card. You may look up your library id number if you do not have your Panther card available.

Once you have the call number for the book, DVD or other material, see the collection guide and Booth Library Map to determine its location. You can also use the Map it! tool to narrow down the location.

Go to the Journals page to search for a journal by title. You can also click on the Journal Titles tab on the library homepage.

Alternatively, for the library's print journals, you can search the EIU Online Catalog. Go to the Advanced Search screen, enter the journal title in the search box, and check the "Journal / Magazine" box in the "Limit To" section below.

Booth has audiobooks on CD on the 4000 level, located with the other CDs. Audiobooks for children are available in the Ballenger Teachers Center. Booth also has many downloadable audiobooks from MyMediaMall, accessible from the library catalog. See this guide for more information.

Electronic reserve materials can be accessed from the Reserves link (under "Services") on the library home page.

Print reserve materials are placed at the Circulation Desk, located at the south end of the 3000 Level. CDs, videos and other non-print reserves are placed at the Library Technology Services desk on the 4000 level. These materials are searchable under the "Course Reserves" link in the EIU Online Catalog.

CDs and DVDs are located on the 4000 level. The library collects feature films, documentaries, performance, television, and educational films. VHS video tapes can be requested at the Circulation Desk. Search the EIU Library Catalog and limit by Formats and Media to see what we own. The library also has streaming video.
